6. Pictures of men were drawn in ceiling paintings inside a royal tomb called
the Muyong-Chong in the Koguryo dynasty. These painting showed knife hand,
fist and fighting stances. Taekkyon started in the Koguryo kingom.

was founded in 1961. In 1973 the World
Taekwondo Federation (WTF) was founded as the official organization
for Taekwondo recognized by the Korean government.
